About Us

Virtual Training group was born out of a desire to improve and empower a large demographic of people not only here in South Africa but worldwide. The founders of VTG believe this methodology of imparting knowledge, not only works as studies have shown worldwide, but it also levels the playing field and creates the opportunity  for  uneducated / illiterate individuals to also move ahead and increase their skills.

Too many times knowledge and skills transfer gets impeded by lack of interest and not having the required skills levels to absorb and understand what is being taught. This can have a major operational impact on companies but, most importantly in some cases, can even lead to a loss of life. VTG endeavors to address this lack by offering a new methodology to impart the message so that no matter what your skills, literacy or understanding level – individuals will get the message.

VTG ensures that all their training is seated in the required governmental and industry standards and regulations to ensure that all learners on completion comply to the legislated requirements.

Looking at the diverse range of knowledge and skills of the founders and the roles they have played in various industries over the years, makes one understand their passion and drive to see people succeed.

Charlene Erasmus being a creative person understands the power of the visual message and understands how this should resonate with your audience. From working in the corporate arena being part of a diverse design company to then moving over into project management, her approach is creative, impactful and logical. Her driving force behind the establishment of Virtual Training Group is to help and educate others, as well as levelling the playing field that everybody can achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves in life.

As her co-founder, Steven Coombe brings his wealth of knowledge in the Mining/Health and Transport sectors to play, adding valuable insight into what the needs are in those sectors and what methodologies of learning would deliver the best results. His absolute passion for the safety and best working conditions for all in these sectors  shines through in his every action, conversation or interaction. He has seen the direct impact of learning not being applied correctly or how poor understanding has lead to injuries, or even worse, loss of life. It stands to reason then why Steven has made it his mission to see to it that through the vision of VTG, this situation will change for the better of all.
